# How to pull patch from nest discussion?

A want to download patches from [https://nest.pijul.com/pijul\_org/pijul/discussions/447](https://nest.pijul.com/pijul_org/pijul/discussions/447). The documentation specifies how to push patches to discussions, but I can’t figure out how to pull.

The most intuitive method, based on the docs for pushing to discussions, seems to be `pijul pull https://nest.pijul.com/pijul_org/pijul --from-branch :447`, but that returns “No new patches to pull.” without making the patches in that discussion available locally to be applied.

This is supposed to be the correct way to pull from a discussion, it could be a bug of the Nest. Have you double-checked in `pijul log` that the patches aren’t there?

I have (using Grep). I also verified that grepping .pijul/patches for the patch hash found no files.
