I use id_ed25519_pijul now. Key in .pub file is:

Your idea is wrong. Pijul will not search this file and will not use it. Remove it.
You must upload id_ed25519.pub file to nest and try again

Last idea i have - did you rebuild pijul with steps i provided in 6days ago ?
i rebuilded it. do i have to tell him to use the new builded version? maybe it is still using the old one?
who is using old or new version? does windows have which command? anyway run pijul from target/release, you have this dir, right?

i created a new ed25519 key and now it works. many thanks!
fuh. it was a long road.
yes it was. but i am glad that it works now. 
can i compare two commits with pijul and show the changes with a comparision tool like beyond compare for example?
