You already support social logins by Google and Twitter:
Any plans to include GitHub and GitLab as well?
As an aside, I’m hoping you’ll soon enable social logins on this forum too 
Some time in the future you might consider doing logins through Nest by using Discourse’s SSO.
This is definitely in our todo-list, but thanks anyway for mentionning it.
Having one account both for discourse and the Nest is indeed a desirable thing to have.
Feel free to start a new topic in https://meta.discourse.org/c/dev/sso for pointers on how to implement it. There’s probably a lot of things that ought to have higher priority for the foreseeable future though.
